Along the way, enjoy views of the Great Rift Valley, with possible stops for photography at a viewpoint. Continue through Narok town, a major gateway to the Masai Mara. As you drive closer to the reserve, you may see Maasai homesteads, open grasslands and local communities along the route. Arrive at your lodge or budget camp for check-in. Depending on arrival time, spend the evening at leisure or head out for an optional evening game drive. During the game drive, you may see wildlife such as lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, hyenas and, with luck, leopards or cheetahs. Return to the lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 2, Full Day Masai Mara Game Drives
After an early breakfast, leave the lodge or camp with a packed lunch for a full day of game drives in Masai Mara National Reserve. Start with a morning game drive, one of the best times to see wildlife when temperatures are cooler and animals are more active. Your guide will search for predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas, as well as elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, topis and other plains wildlife. The Masai Mara is known for its open savannah, big cat sightings and rich wildlife density. Your guide will explore different areas of the reserve depending on recent sightings and wildlife movement. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the reserve, allowing you to spend more time in the wilderness without returning to camp during the day. In the afternoon, continue your game drive across the plains. Depending on the season, you may see wildebeest herds as part of the Great Migration, although migration sightings depend on timing and movement. Later, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3, Masai Mara to Nairobi
After breakfast at the lodge or camp, check out and begin your return drive to Nairobi. Enjoy views of the countryside and the Great Rift Valley as you travel back. Depending on your schedule, your guide may stop briefly along the route for lunch or refreshments.
