Detailed safari
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park (5-6 hours), rhino tracking, and evening game drive
On the 1st day of your 3-day Murchison Falls National Park safari, depending on your location in Kampala, you will meet with an Elephant Whispers Safaris representative and your driver guides for a briefing, then depart for Murchison Falls National Park. It’s a 5-6-hour drive with an en-route stop at the Ziwa rhino sanctuary for a rhino tracking experience and lunch, enter the park via Kichwabanyobo gate, and connect to the northern bank for an evening game drive. Thereafter, connect to your lodge for check-in for dinner and overnight at Red Chilly Rest Camp for budget/Pukuba Safari Lodge for mid-range/Nile Safari Lodge for luxury

Day 2: Morning game drive and boat cruise along the Nile
After an early breakfast at the lodge, meet your safari driver guide and connect for a morning game drive. The activity takes about 3-5 hours, depending on animals available, and you will find animals including elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda Kobs, Oribis, and waterbucks.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch. Later afternoon at 2 pm, go for a launch cruise along the Nile, which will give you an exciting panoramic view of the bottom of the mighty Murchison Falls. Along the cruise, you will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks, like kingfishers, cormorants, and bee-eaters. You will spend time viewing the falls at the bottom while taking pictures, then later return to meet your driver and connect back to your lodge and a relaxed evening. After viewing the bottom of the falls, sail back to meet your driver who will transfer you back to your lodge with an en-route game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge as above

Day 3: Top of the falls and transfer back to Kampala
On the 3rd day of your 3-day Murchison Falls National Park safari, after breakfast, transfer to the top of the falls for about 2 hours, then embark on your journey back to Kampala. You will be dropped off at a place you will advise. This is a 4-5-hour drive to Kampala. End of the tour
