Bwindi Impenetrable National Park occupies the 331sq.kms of land area in the southwestern districts of Uganda especially Kabale, Kisoro, Rukungiri and Kanungu districts. The park was founded in 1991 and today, over 120 mammal species call it a home and these include half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. On this 1-day Gorilla Trekking, transportation before and after the experience will be handled for the guests themselves that is your access to the park and out, will be your own responsibility. You trip begins and ends at the lodge we will book you at. Our company representative will only brief you about the gorilla trekking experience and take you to the park for your gorilla trekking experience

This offer only allows us to provide accommodation for 2 nights and a day for gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We will provide your gorilla permits and also handle your accommodation stay for 2 nights.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Own drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Check-in at Buhoma Haven Lodge/Bakiga Lodge/Four Gorilla Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking experience

Enjoy early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing by the ranger guides and later head into the forest for your trek. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. These primates roam the park freely and there is no way of telling where they will be for a particular day. On finding them, you will be allowed 1 hour to view and take photos of these gentle primates, enjoy your lunch packs and meet your driver / guide.
