Murchison River Lodge sits on the southern bank of the River Nile overlooking the landscapes of Murchison Falls National Park. The lodge is surrounded by natural vegetation and offers views of the river and nearby papyrus islands. The property is designed as an eco-friendly safari lodge, operating largely off-grid and using solar energy systems. Guests experience a natural environment while still enjoying comfortable accommodation and friendly hospitality.  Thatched Safari Cottages

Thatched cottages are open plan with two single beds downstairs and a double bed on a mezzanine floor. The wide veranda overlooks the bush and includes a sofa and hammock for you to relax and enjoy the bird life. The cottages are perfect for families (if necessary, we can add two extra children’s beds/baby cot) or alternatively a maximum of 4 adults who know each other well. The cottages are spacious with attractive furnishings and equipped with:
