Detailed program
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park Game drive and boat cruise
Depending on your location, meet your safari driver as early as 6 am and transfer to Lake Mburo National park. The park is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks and underlain by ancient Precambrian metamorphic rocks. It’s a 4-5 hours’ drive to the park. Upon arrival, connect for a morning game drive for animals like the buffaloes, giraffes, Zebras, Impalas and other residents found in the park.
Connect for lunch in one of the lodges at the park, go on a boat trip on Lake Mburo for different animals like hippos and land animals and different birds. After the boat cruise, drive out of the park to return to Kampala. Drop off to a location you will advise.
