Lake Kivu
Lake Kivu is the largest freshwater lake in Rwanda and the sixth largest in Africa, located in the western part of Rwanda, surrounded by magnificent mountains and has deep emerald green waters covering a surface area of 2,700 km², stretching from the north in the foothills of the Virunga mountains down to the south near Nyungwe Forest.
